This one of my favorite pictures. We had a photo shoot at a friends B & B. This picture is her live chickens looking at my chickens.. I laugh every every time I see it!
I’m happy to be here. I love what I do.
I’ve been creating art all my life. I’ve worked in bronze, ceramic and cement. Carved stone, wood and gourds. Built my own dulcimer and carved dolphins on the head. Carved many walking sticks with animal heads and small wooden coyotes, Goddesses and turtles. I’ve also made several signs for friends businesses
The last seven years I have been creating outdoor sculptures. I carve animals out of foam. Cover them with cement and a coat of cement primer. Next I paint them in bright, fun colors and finish with a protective coat of urethane.
I’ve built them to be outdoors in all weathers. My creatures live thru winters in Minnesota and Wisconsin. They live in the heat in Colorado, New Mexico, California, Arizona, Louisiana and Costa Rica. They have held up well outside for years.
I currently have bees, chickens, dragons, quail and flying pigs for sale. In the past I have made a donkey, roadrunners, rabbits, turtles with solar lights, ravens, crows, sand hill cranes, otters, dragon flies and fish.
